Activity Card Use Agreement

The activity card remains the property of the WHOA at all times and shall be surrendered to any WHOA representative upon request. The activity card is issued for the sole purpose of enabling access to WHOA facilities during normal hours of operation for WHOA members in good standing and their guests only. Only the homeowner and members of his immediate family may possess the card at any time while on WHOA property. Any other use constitutes fraud. Any card used fraudulently will be confiscated and/or permanently invalidated. In addition, homeowners delinquent in monies owed to the WHOA will have their activity cards deactivated until their debts are paid in full. The WHOA retains the right to restrict the number of guests. Use of the card constitutes agreement by the homeowner that he is responsible for the behavior of all users of the card, whether or not the homeowner is physically present at the time of use. Use of the card constitutes agreement by the homeowner that the rules of the facility will be observed by all users who entered under the card, whether or not the homeowner is physically present at the time of use. The homeowner is responsible for safekeeping of the card and protecting it from damage. A lost or damaged card will be replaced for $30, contingent on availability (which cannot be assured). A replacement may involve substantial time delays and cannot be assured. A card reported lost or damaged will be invalidated so there is no way a homeowner can obtain more than one working card at a time. Finally, the card must be surrendered when a homeowner sells his house or when a homeowner wishes to obtain a resale certificate. Failure to do so will result in a $30 lost-card charge. Use of the card constitutes the homeowner’s acceptance of the terms of this Use Agreement.
